We do not qualify for government or lottery funding, and contrary to popular belief, many of the bigger funders don't give to animal charities.  Nor is it within the scope of many national animal charities to fund our work. A lot of community funds also exclude animal charities.  We have to raise every pound by our own efforts, so every donation makes a difference to us.  Please help us if you canThank You

Our opening times are Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 1pm-4pm and Saturdays and Sundays 10.30am-4pm. There may not be anyone here at other times. You can also bring cash to any of our fundraising events - there is a list of these on the "What's Happening" section of our website. Please ensure that if you bring a cash donation to a fundraising event that it is clearly marked as a donation so that it is not included as part of the other funds raised on that day. We do not recommend that you put cash in the post. Please Gift Aid your donation if possible.

Online donations using your credit card. There is no charge to us for this. Standing Order donations. You can download a form here, which you should print off, complete and return to us. You can also set up a regular donation using our bank details, which are Yorkshire Bank, Keighley; Sort - 05-05-35; account number - 17369979, however, please be aware that if you set up a regular donation directly with the bank we are usually unable to acknowledge it, or send you copies of our newsletter, as the bank do not provide us with your address details. We are also unable to claim Gift Aid unless you identify yourself and your donation to us.

Anonymously - if you wish to make an anonymous donation, we suggest that you either send us a bank draft or slip your donation into an envelope and hand it to us at one of our fundraising events or at our centre, omitting to include your name and address. We will be unable to acknowledge it, or send you copies of our newsletter. We are also unable to claim Gift Aid unless you identify yourself and your donation to us.

Gift Aid - as a registered charity, we can claim gift aid on any donations made to us by a UK taxpayer who has agreed to allow us to do this. Gift Aid costs the donor nothing as long as they have paid sufficient tax in the year in which the donation is made. So, for example, if you donate £25, we can claim 20% of this from the Inland Revenue, so your donation will be worth an extra £5. This money is very important to us, so please do make a declaration if you can.  For us to claim Gift Aid, we need your name, your address including postcode and a written confirmation that you are a UK taxpayer.  You can either make the declaration with your payment, or download a separate form here.
